Present to Chinese clients ? Understand Asia and speak Asian
-Gain the trust , get the deal and build your unique brand
Presentation isn’t just about speaking the language , it is about
1.How to break the ice with Chinese audience
2.Make your words / examples more relatable
3.Avoid cultural taboos
4.Read the room : true meaning of silence , indirect feedback and face
What are the common mistakes in presenting to Chinese executive?
1. Did you start with the conclusion?
In Chinese business culture, that sequence feels presumptuous. Trust and context must come first; the ask comes after the relationship has been acknowledged. Provide as a suggestion at the end.
2. Did you confuse politeness with agreement ?"I hear you" does not mean "I agree." Silence after a key point isn't contemplative approval; it can signal discomfort, confusion, or quiet disagreement.
3. Did you accidentally strip someone’s face?
it operates like social currency in a Chinese business room. Publicly correcting a senior person's assumption, answering a question in a way that implies the questioner was wrong, or singling out an error in front of the group can cause irreversible damage to the relationship
